Percentage of clerks by school
(The percentage represents the % of a given class that will be clerking for the 2008-2009 term (excluding all second-year clerks). The denominators for class size include both full-time and part-time students. The numerators are not adjusted to exclude alumni from current students who will clerk, and they include both alumni and current students.)

yale rocks - almost a quarter of its class is clerking....
almost a quarter of its class is clerking . . . on a CIRCUIT court. i think the actual percentage of people clerking is between 40-50 when you add district court clerkships.
however, keep in mind as well that these numbers reflect clerks entering in summer/fall 2008, and include some graduates as well as current 3ls.
